Hi! This is Kaitlin! Thanks for visiting. In case you don't know me yet, let me introduce myself---
I am a non-binary performer, writer, and multi-platform creative professional currently based out of Los Angeles, California. I had the honor of being born and raised in a wonderfully creative family in the San Francisco bay area where I first discovered my love of performing in competitive gymnastics and dance. As my world expanded, I began exploring and branching out into as many creative pursuits as possible. My passion for performing led me to college in Los Angeles and New York where I received a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, with an Acting emphasis, from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. This is also where I began to discover I could combine my love of acting and gymnastics, with my first foray into stage combat and stunts!
I am always searching for new ways to discover a little more about myself and express what it means to be alive.
After graduating, I toured from California, Las Vegas, to New York City, as a lead performer and fight captain in MB Stage Production's hit show, "The Video Games". I've enjoyed performing with MB Stage Productions on multiple world premiers since then!
Most recently, I spent 3 months with the Jurassic World Live Tour, produced by Feld Entertainment Inc., training stunts, fighting, and advanced full-body puppeteering(or "Dinoteering" as they call it!) to be an on-call backup for the world premier national tour! Talk about a fun job!
Along with my performing endeavors, I am also very proud to share that I co-authored, as well as did the cover photography, for the beautiful book, and an Amazon Top New Release of it's time, Scanning for Signal, from Sacred Stories Publishing! You can check it all out on the pages above! The best part is, I got to collaborate on this book with my incredibly talented sister, Kiah Abendroth, who is a multi-talented writer, incredible musician, and a very insightful inter-faith minister.
Thank YOU for your visit today. And I mean that. It's because of you, and people like you, that I can continue doing what I love, and I am forever grateful for you. Stay tuned for more updates and excitement by checking back soon, or following along on Facebook and Instagram! I'll try to update you as much as I can.
